Dean McDermott Visits AA Store, Aims At Getting Sober For Tori Spelling And Family
Dean McDermott is determined to get sober.
With his marriage to Tori Spelling hanging on by a thread, McDermott is seeking out all resources in hopes at getting clean, and on Monday, was spotted at West Hollywood's My 12 Step Store where he did some shopping.
“Dean stopped in after an AA meeting and bought a few things, including stickers for his motorcycle helmet,” the source told Radar Online on April 15. “He also bought some books and meditation stuff.”
Ever since it was revealed that McDermott had engaged in an affair in Dec. 2013, he has been doing what he can to save his marriage. In Jan. 2014, McDermott entered rehab and publicly apologized for the pain he caused his family. Then, at the end of last month, McDermott signed on to appear in Spelling's new reality series, True Tori, despite not wanting to expose such personal issues to the public.
“Dean said he needed the stuff he bought to help his marriage. He said he’s trying to get sober and repair the damage he did to Tori,” Radar's source added. “He wants to be there for Tori because he said she’s really co-dependent when it comes to their relationship together.”
True Tori is scheduled to premiere on the Lifetime Network on April 22, and according to reports, the show promises to reveal whether or not Spelling will chose to stay with McDermott and make their marriage work or walk away and file for divorce.
