'Teen Mom 2' Star Jenelle Evans Plans To Get Engaged "Soon," Despite Boyfriend's Incarceration
Jenelle Evans is expecting her boyfriend to propose sometime "soon."
Although Nathan Griffith is currently behind bars, and Evans is still married, a source is now claiming that the pair will soon make their relationship official by becoming engaged.
“Jenelle hasn’t gotten a ring yet, but Nathan said he has his proposal already planned out,” a source told Radar Online on April 14. “It’s going to happen soon, but when Jenelle isn’t expecting it.”
Last week, Griffith was sentenced to serve 30 days behind bars after receiving his third DUI charge in Sept. 2013, but Evans, who is currently pregnant with their first son, intends to speak with him reguarly and visit him when possible until his release.
Currently, Evans is still marrried to Courtland Rogers, but on April 24, one year after her and Rogers' initial separation, the Teen Mom 2 star will be eligible to file for divorce.
During a Teen Mom 2 after show earlier this month, Evans explained that although she and Griffith were hoping for a "summer wedding," she didn't want to get engaged while she and Rogers were still technically married.
“They have some ideas about the wedding but haven’t actually started planning that part yet,” the source said.
Evans is due to give birth at the end of June. The child will be the second for both her and Griffith, who each have one child from previous relationships.
