Rapper Big Sean Calls Off His And 'Glee' Actress Naya Rivera's 2014 Wedding, Releases Statement
Big Sean has called off his upcoming wedding to Naya Rivera.
Amid rumors that the rapper stole watches and regularly cheated on the Glee star, Sean has released a statement via his rep, confirming the split and denying recent reports.
"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off," Sean's rep told PEOPLE Magazine on April 9. "The recent rumors and accusations reported by so-called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."
Big Sean and Naya first began dating in April 2013 after meeting on Twitter. After Naya began following the rapper and tweeted that she was a fan, his personal assistant got word of her comments and clued Sean in. From there, they went on several more dates and in Oct. 2013, their engagement was announced.
Since then, things appeared to be going great. Naya had even gushed over how Sean was going to make an "amazing husband" and "great father" in Jan. 2014. Then, earlier this month, screenshots of an alleged tweet from Naya's account hit the web, claiming that Sean had stolen watches from another woman.
"[Big Sean] stealing Rolexes from a lady's house now," the tweet read. "Maybe cuz I'm on Glee and making more money or something. #triflin."
Around the same time, reports hit the web that Sean had been unfaithful to Naya on multiple occasions.
