Miley Cyrus Cancels Charlotte Concert After Coming Down With The Flu
Miley Cyrus has come down with the flu and canceled her Charlotte, N.C. concert.
After suffering from major "throat and sinus" issues, Cyrus' Bangerz Tour rep confirmed tonight's show would be canceled -- and it may not be the only one.
"The 21-year-old singer has come down with a case of the flu and is too sick to perform tonight," multiple sources explained to E! News on April 7. "An announcement may come soon regarding possible reschedule dates for Charlotte."
Last week, Cyrus' dog, Floyd, passed away, and she's made it no secret that she's completely devastated by the loss. Not only did she say it was the "2nd worst day of my life," and reveal she was "broken," Cyrus also broke down in tears during a Boston concert following his passing. She even added, "I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him. This is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him? I am miserable."
While tomorrow night's show, also in Charlotte, is still on at this point, tour sources told E! that it is possible that it will be canceled as well, if Cyrus can't recuperate in time. Also in question at this point is her Washington, D.C. stop on Thursday and her Auburn Hills, Mich. tour date on Saturday.
Although Cyrus hasn't yet directly addressed the canceled show, she did take to Twitter in the wee hours of the morning, telling fans she was in "excruciating pain."
