'The Little Couple' Star Jen Arnold And Family Celebrates Her Final Chemo Treatment (Video)
Jen Arnold and family will be celebrating her final chemo treatment on the upcoming episode of The Little Couple.
After months of fighting back against a rare form of cancer, the Houston-based neonatologist, 39, is sharing the last step in her journey to remission.
In a sneak peek at the episode, provided by PEOPLE Magazine on April 7, Arnold and family are seen in the hospital, celebrating her final treatment with balloons and cake. "It's a red-letter day in history for Will, not because Jen's treatment is done, but because he had cake before noon," Arnold's husband, Bill Klein, said in the clip.
In Dec. 2013, two months after welcoming her second child, adopted daughter Zoey, Arnold was diagnosed with cancer and, in an interview, revealed she was undergoing treatment, including surgery and chemotherapy.
Although Arnold was understandably upset about the diagnosis, she stayed proactive and in Feb. 2014, underwent her last chemo treatment, which is what fans will be seeing on the new episode.
"I had my official last chemo treatment," Arnold told PEOPLE Magazine at the time of the treatment. "And while I'm hesitant to say I'm cancer-free – maybe that's common for people who have had cancer – I'm doing great. Everything is moving in the right direction. I am very excited."
The Little Couple airs on TLC on Tuesday night, April 8, at 10 p.m.
