Haylie Duff Announces Engagement To Boyfriend Matt Rosenberg, Lands New Cooking Show
Haylie Duff landed her own show and got engaged -- all in one week.
On Monday, the former 7th Heaven actress announced that she would soon be starring in a new Cooking Channel series, and on Thursday, she shared news of her engagement.
"The future Mrs.Rosenberg #Love @mr_sts," Duff wrote on Instagram along with a photo of her and her new fiancé, Matt Rosenberg. In the photo, Duff was seen showing off her round diamond engagement right with her arm around Rosenberg.
For the last few years, Duff has been juggling her acting career, appearing in Muffin Top: A Love Story, Sweet Surrender, Jingle Belle, and Badge of Honor (all due out this year), with her career as a food blogger. Although Duff never went to school for the culinary arts, she's spent years experimenting and learning about food -- and sharing her journey with fans on her website, Real Girl's Kitchen.
Throughout her travels, Duff has gained a following and as a result, the Cooking Channel is turning her blog into a series, hosted by Duff. The show is set to premiere in June.
"This week has seriously just become the best week of my life! As if announcing The Real Girl’s Kitchen tv show wasn’t enough, Matt just took me by total surprise and proposed…on April Fool’s Day of all days!" Duff wrote. "The moment was genuine and sweet (like him!) and I couldn’t wait to say yes!"
Duff previously dated actor Nick Zano, of What I Like About You and 2 Broke Girls, from 2008 to 2011.
