Pregnant 'Teen Mom 2' Star Jenelle Evans Plans To File For Divorce From Husband Courtland Rogers
Jenelle Evans is planning to divorce her husband, Courtland Rogers, after 16 months of marriage.
Currently pregnant with another man's baby, the Teen Mom 2 star says she's ready to move on from Rogers and continue her life with her current boyfriend, Nathan Griffith.
“I’m ready to get him out of my life and move on with being Jenelle EVANS again,” Evans told Radar Online on April 2.
After dating for three months, Evans and Rogers got married in a courthouse ceremony in Dec. 2012. One month later, Evans announced she was expecting Rogers' baby. Sadly, she suffered an abortion in late Jan. 2013, and the two parted ways. However, the split didn't last long and by March 2013, they were back on. Then, on April 23, 2013, the pair was arrested for heroin possession and assault, which led to them both spending time behind bars, as well as the end of their relationship.
Because of North Carolina state law requiring couples to be separated for one year before filing for divorce, Evans and Rogers have had to wait, but now that their year mark is just around the corner, Evans is preparing to officially file to end their marriage.
Meanwhile, Evans has been dating Griffith since last June and would love to get remarried to him, following the birth of their son this June.
“Jenelle wants to divorce Courtland and marry Nathan," the source added. "She is done with Courtland and wants nothing else to do with him."
