'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' Season 10 News Update: Thailand Trip Cost E! $100,000
The Kardashian/Jenner family is currently vacationing in Phuket, Thailand -- and E! is footing the bill.
As they film for the upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the family is living large and it has already cost E! and Ryan Seacrest Productions a reported $100,000.
With their camera crew in tow, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie, Brody, Brandon, and the rest of the clan, including parents Kris and Bruce Jenner, “descended into Phuket where they will remain for the next several days,” a source told Radar Online on April 1.
On Feb. 13, 2014, the Kardashian/Jenner family, who are now filming the series' 10th season, scored a deal with E! worth more than $40 million (not including the family's lavish vacations), which would keep them on the air for at least two more seasons. The deal surpassed the family's three-season renewal back in 2012, which was worth $40 million.
“Past vacations the family has taken to Greece and Tahiti were also paid for by the network,” the source continued, adding that while many hotels and airlines have offered discounts in exchange for publicity, "these trips are extremely expensive."
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on the day of their latest contract renewal, Kris responded to rumors claiming Bruce wouldn't be a part of the new deal, explaining that the family has been filming season 10 since January, and that Bruce has gotten his fair share of camera time.
