Zac Efron Never Went To Rehab, Friends Are "Worried Sick" After Possible Relapse
Zac Efron's friends are concerned about the actor's sobriety following Sunday's Skid Row incident.
After hearing the details of Efron's sketchy visit to downtown Los Angeles, friends are convinced he has relapsed and "worried sick" about what the future may hold.
"Zac's a loner. He goes out rarely and the idea of him driving for miles to go to some sushi restaurant in downtown L.A. after midnight is preposterous," a friend of Efron's told TMZ on March 28.
Following the incident, Efron reportedly claimed to have ran out of gas on the way to get sushi, which was why he found himself on Skid Row, where he and his bodyguard were attacked by a group of homeless men.
Efron's friends also revealed Efron's bodyguard wasn't really a bodyguard -- and that the actor never actually went to rehab. Instead, he went to a friend's house outside California and received private therapy for his alleged addiction to cocaine.
In a separate report by TMZ on Thursday, the site claimed to have run a background check on the bodyguard which revealed that the man was a convicted drug dealer. The site also revealed that although the bodyguard claimed to have been viscously stabbed, Efron was the only one witnessed to have any blood on them after the fight.
