'Bachelorette' Ashley Hebert And J.P. Rosenbaum Are Expecting Their First Child
Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert and her husband J.P. Rosenbaum are expecting their first child together.
After discovering the happy news at a recent Bachelor wedding, Hebert and Rosenbaum have gone public, gushing about their future child.
“I’m a little nervous, but we’re very excited,” Hebert revealed to In Touch Weekly. “I’ve wanted a child for a while.”
Hebert, who is three months along and due in October, met and became engaged to Rosenbaum on the set of The Bachelorette in 2011 after first starring on The Bachelor season 15, in hopes of finding love with Brad Womack.
Following filming, Hebert and Rosebaum got married on Dec. 1, 2012, and just over two weeks later, on Dec. 16, 2012, their wedding aired in a televised special on ABC.
And speaking of Bachelor specials, it was at the Jan. 26 wedding of Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici that Hebert and Rosenbaum discovered they were expecting.
After about two months of trying to conceive, Hebert had taken a few pregnancy tests, which had showed a faint line. But on the day of Lowe and Giudici's Santa Barbara, Calif. wedding, their suspicions were confirmed.
"There was legitimately a line," Rosenbaum explained. "That's when we officially found out - of course it would be at a Bachelor wedding!"
“It’s nice not to have to keep a secret anymore. We’re beyond thrilled,” he added.
