Britney Spears And Boyfriend David Lucado Plan Graceland Wedding (Report)
Britney Spears is reportedly planning to tie the knot at Elvis Presley's former estate.
Spears and her boyfriend, David Lucado, have been dating since early 2013, following Spears' split from fiance Jason Trawick, and recently, Spears has been seen wearing a gold ring, which a source claims is the result of the pair's engagement.
Now that Spears and Lucado are allegedly engaged, Spears is reportedly planning her wedding and it has been rumored that she already chose the venue for what she plans to be an over-the-top affair.
"Britney wants to get as much attention and money for pictures with her third wedding as she did for her second, which is why she is considering reaching out to Elvis' daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, to ask if she can be married in the Graceland Estate in Memphis, Tennessee," the source disclosed. "Getting married at the home of the late king of rock and roll in an elegant Southern-style ceremony would certainly generate one-of-a-kind pictures that Brit already plans to make the front page of magazines around the world."
"Not only would the Graceland location, now a tourist attraction, be a visually stunning place for Brit and Dave to tie the knot, but it would be a convenient trip for most of their extended families, who are based in the south," the source said. "If Lisa Marie, who controls the Graceland estate, gives her okay, Britney will start her wedding planning with a vengeance."
In a Nov. 2013 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Spears gushed over her "simple" boyfriend, telling the publication that the Virginia native was "very stubborn" and "stuck in his ways," which she adored. Months prior, TMZ revealed Lucado wasn't the typical Hollywood guy, stating that he was the exact opposite of Trawick -- completely down-to-earth, humble, and meek.
This would be the third marriage for Spears who previously married childhood friend Jason Alexander in Jan. 2004 (a marriage that was later annulled) and Kevin Federline, the father of her two sons, in Sept. 2004 (that marriage ended in Nov. 2006 when Spears filed for divorce).
