Justin Bieber Wooed Selena Gomez With $10,000 In Roses, But Her Family Still Isn't On Board
Justin Bieber spared no expense when it came to winning back his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
After posting a photo of her online with the caption, "The most elegant princess," it was clear that Bieber wanted his on-again, off-again girlfriend back, but Bieber didn't stop there.
According to a new report, Bieber followed up his Instagram posting by sending Gomez a whopping $10,000 worth of roses.
“Bieber has hardcore been after Selena,” a source close to the couple revealed to Radar Online on March 11. “After he posted the Oscar picture of her calling her a princess, he sent her $10,000 worth of flowers. Like a sh*t ton of flowers!”
“Justin will do anything, literally anything for Selena,” the source said. “I don’t think he’ll ever stay monogamous, but he loves her. He really does.”
Bieber and Gomez dated for two years but split in early 2013 after a New Year's Eve getaway gone wrong. However, even after the split, Bieber and Gomez continued to spend time together.
In the summer of 2013, Bieber and Gomez briefly rekindled their romance and were spotted getting close both at a July 4th party and at a pool party weeks later. Unfortunately, it didn't last and months later, Bieber appeared to be striking up a romance with model Chantel Jeffries.
In Jan. 2013, Bieber and Jeffries were photographed together in Miami prior to Bieber's DUI arrest. Days later, they surfaced on a beach in Panama, and things between Bieber and Gomez appeared to be over for good, but clearly, that was not the case.
“When [Bieber and Gomez] first got together they were America’s sweethearts — they were both famous, but sort of on the same level as a lot of stars, but then it exploded and now no one else they date can relate to that or understand it,” the insider explained. “Nor can they trust anyone else. So they gravitate towards each other because of that.”
Despite Bieber's efforts, Gomez' family isn't thrilled with their reunion. In the past, sources have told E! News that the family considers Bieber a "punk" and thinks their relationship is "the worst thing to ever happen to Selena."
Now, although they have tried to sway her from the reconciliation, they don't have much hope in putting a stop the reunion.
"There's no talking to her," a source told E!. "She's just going to do what she wants."
