George Lopez was arrested at a Casino in Canada after having a few too many drinks. Shortly after the incident, Lopez released a statement, explaining himself, and of course, cracking a joke about the ordeal.

"Tied one on last night. Not feeling great this morning," Lopez explained to PEOPLE Magazine on Feb. 28. "I was trying to sleep it off, unfortunately, it was on the casino floor."

On Feb. 27, Lopez was arrested for public intoxication after passing out on the casino floor at the Caesars Windsor.

Once onlookers observed Lopez in his drunken stupor, the police were called and Lopez was arrested inside the casino's bar.

"We can confirm that at 11:25 p.m. Windsor police officers received custody of a male from the OPP Casino Enforcement Unit," a spokesperson for Windsor Police told the magazine. "The male was subsequently released with no charges."

One particular onlooker at the casino was able to capture a snapshot of the passed out Lopez, which they later posted to Twitter. In the photo, Lopez was seen lying on the floor on his side with his black shirt pulled up, exposing his stomach.
