Vanessa and Nick Lachey are planning for their second child.

The Lachey's are loving life with their 18-month-old son, Camden, and despite their hectic work schedules, are trying to give him a sibling. However, with all of the traveling they are doing, it may prove difficult.

"Cam and I leave Saturday (for New York City) and we're just going to be a family," Lachey told E! News on Thurs., Feb. 27. "Nick and I made it important to make our family a priority, he didn't accept the VH1 job until after Dads wrapped, and he's willing to leave New York if and when Dads season two gets picked up."

The VH1 job Lachey was referring to was Nick's gig on Big Morning Buzz Live, which he begins filming on Mar. 3.

On Jan. 17, 2014, VH1 announced that Nick would be joining the show as host, replacing Carrie Keagan, who departed the series in Dec. 2013.

As for the possibility of more children, Lachey confirmed earlier this week that she and Nick are trying for their second child, but added that it is mainly Nick who has made it a point to get the ball rolling out of fear that he doesn't have much more time when it comes to baby making.

"Well, I'm not past the exhaustion point and I could go a minute with just the three of us right now. But I was telling somebody earlier today that men have a biological clock. [Nick]'s like, 'Baby, I'm 40. We gotta get it moving.'"

In the earlier interview, Lachey spoke of her and Nick's desires to expand their family, but noted that if it doesn't happen, that will be fine, too.

"Yes, my husband and I are actively trying!" Lachey confirmed to Huffington Post. "We've wanted to have more kids and if it's in the cards for us, it'll be in the cards for us."
