Kaley Cuoco On Her Quicky Marriage To Ryan Sweeting
Kaley Cuoco appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman on Mon., Feb. 24, where she discussed her whirlwind romance with now husband, Ryan Sweeting.
When asked by Letterman about their romance, Cuoco started from the beginning.
"We actually met on a blind date," Cuoco explained. "We had been texting, we texted a little bit. Dinner was great, and then he moved in the next day. I know, it sounds so slutty, but it wasn't! It all did move quite fast on paper, but we really did know...And i know you're all thinking, 'She's nuts!' I swear I'm not nuts. We just fell in love."
After first meeting on a blind date in July of 2013, the Big Bang Theory actress and her tennis player beau fell quickly in love, and by September, they were engaged. Then, on Dec. 31, 2013, just over five months after they met, Cuoco and Sweeting tied the knot.
Once the pair were engaged, they began to plan a secret wedding ceremony which would take place in Southern California during a New Year's Eve party. Unfortunately, it didn't go exactly as planned - because Cuoco just couldn't keep the exciting news to herself.
"I could not keep my mouth shut," Cuoco admitted. "Like, I'd be getting my nails done, and I'd be like, 'Listen, I'm totally getting married in a few months, and then I'd go get my gas pumped, and I'd be telling the attendant, like, 'I'm getting married in a few months, but you're the only one that knows."
"So there'd be all these articles and my husband would be like, 'How does everyone know we're getting married?'" Cuoco said. "And I'd be like, 'I do not know. I do not know!"
