Jenna Fischer Pregnant With Second Child
Jenna Fischer and her husband Lee Kirk are expecting their second child together.
According to a Feb. 25 report by Us Weekly, he 39-year-old Emmy-nominated actress and her screenwriter husband are expecting a baby this summer.
In 2012, after welcoming their first child, Kirk spoke to Us Weekly, saying that being a father has been "a lot of fun."
"He's laughing a lot," Kirk told the magazine. "I feel like making your son laugh is the greatest thing in the world."
In another interview, Fischer said, "I love being a family. I love going from two people to three people, and it has deepened the bond between me and my husband. We love being together, the three of us. Our little unit."
Fischer also spoke to PEOPLE Magazine in 2012 about the joys of being a mommy and wife.
"It looks like I need to get some new goals because I'm living my dream right now," she explained. "[My husband] is amazing. He's such a good father. I'm very lucky. I came to Los Angeles and wanted more than anything to be on a comedy TV show like Cheers. My other goal was to marry a great man and have a family."
Fischer and Kirk began dating in 2009, two years after Fischer's first marriage, to screenwriter James Gunn, came to an end. On July 3, 2010, the pair wed in Malibu, Calif., with Survivor host Jeff Probst officiating. One year later, on Sept. 24, 2011, Fischer gave birth to their first child, a boy, whom they named Weston Lee Kirk.
In addition to her son, Weston, and unborn child, Fischer is also a godmother to her former Office co-star Angela Kinsey's daughter, Isabel Ruby Liberstein, 5.
