Rob Kardashian Weight Loss, Actor Continues to Struggle with Extra Pounds
Rob Kardashian just can't get a hold of his weight. Although fans have seen him dieting in recent episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, his weight in real time appears to have gone back up.
In new photos, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was seen leaving a Los Angeles gym wearing all black and looking noticeably heavier than he did back in May.
"Rob is really depressed," a source told Us Weekly on Feb. 12. "He's not as close with his family right now, and he won't answer a lot of texts and calls from friends. Rob has a trainer he's supposedly working out with, but Rob rarely shows up for their sessions. He's not losing any weight. The family is very concerned about him."
In March of 2013, Kardashian spoke to Us Weekly about his weight-loss plan.
"I lost 5 to 7 [pounds] last week. I'm trying to lose 40," he revealed. "It's a little journey, but it's good. . . I'm like 240 right now, probably 235."
Following a bad break-up with Rita Ora, who reportedly cheated on Kardashian more than once, Kardashian packed on the pounds, eating "a lot of great food," as he said. However, once he got past the heartache, Kardashian got on a low-carb diet and began exercising regularly.
"We go to do Runyon Canyon in L.A.," he explained of his program, which many of his friends also follow. "I'll [exercise with] my own trainer at eight in the morning before all that."
At the time, Kardashian said that he hoped to reach his goal weight by July 4.
Two months later, on May 26, Kardashian looked much slimmer at an event for his Arthur George sock line, but told Us Weekly he wasn't at his goal. "I still have to lose like 40 to 50 pounds believe it or not. Six months I should be there."
Unfortunately, six months have now passed, and Kardashian appears to have put on weight yet again.
