Rachel Zoe welcomed her second son, Kaius Jagger, in late December, and while the addition to her family was a joyous occasion, it has prevented her from moving forward with her New York Fashion Week 2014 presentation.

On Monday, Feb. 2, Zoe made the official announcement that she was pulling her Luxe Rachel Zoe Collection out of Fashion Week, citing her son as the reason for her being unable to participate.

"While I look forward to New York Fashion Week each season, I've made the difficult decision to move our fall 2014 runway show from Feb. 13 in New York to a later date in Los Angeles," Zoe explained to Women's Wear Daily. "As a new mother my newborn son is too young to travel with me, and I'm unable to leave him for the amount of time required to appropriately prepare for the show in New York."

Despite her canceled presentation, Zoe's collection, which has been described as "French bohemia with mod elements," will still be viewed by buyers in NYC.

"I couldn't be more excited about this collection, and market will proceed on Feb. 10 in NYC as planned," Zoe added. "I look forward to being back on the NYFW calendar in December."

Zoe first launched her clothing line in 2011 after years of successfully styling Hollywood's elite. Following its launch, Zoe's collection was featured in over 275 department stores, including Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. One year later, Zoe expanded the brand to include jewelry and cold-weather accessories.

In March, Zoe will be adding to her resume by releasing a new style book, Living In Style: Inspiration and Advice For Everyday Glamour. The book follows Zoe's first style guide, Style A to Zoe: The Art Of Fashion, Beauty and Everything Glamour, which was released in 2007 and landed on the New York Times Bestseller List.
