Beyonce's Trainer Explains Her Transformation Into A Curvy Size 2
Beyonce is typically known for her hourglass figure and stunning curves, but at Sunday night's Grammy Awards, the Drunk In Love singer debuted a new, much slimmer look. Now in a size 2, Beyonce is thinner than ever, but according to her trainer, she doesn't intend on saying "goodbye" to her curves all together.
Top celebrity trainer Nicole Winhoffer, who also works with Madonna, explains the trick to getting a figure like Beyonce's, which is both slim and feminine, is to work the muscles in a 360-degree motion.
“Shaping the muscles at 360 degrees is important to maintain a feminine figure, rather than the conventional linear motion you see by using machines at gyms,” Winhoffer explained to the UK's MailOnline. "We can see a major change in her body from previous years. She represents female empowerment and embodies it on stage, her body is lean and elongated by must importantly, feminine. She was able to keep her V shape while maintaining her rear, keeping it plump and lifted."
“This is my hope for every female I work it,” she added. “To embrace and own who you are. Movement frees the body and results follow, this is my mission for fitness.”
Also helping Beyonce in the health department was the 22-day low-calorie vegan challenge she did with husband Jay-Z late last year. In December, the pair embarked on the strict diet and came out of healthier all around.
As for Beyonce's white Grammy gown, the designer revealed on Mon., Jan. 27, that it was a size 2.
"[Beyonce's Grammy dress] was incredible! We didn't have any of her sizes or measurements. The dress was just made to fit a sample mannequin," Project Runway winner Michael Costello, who designed Beyonce's gown, revealed to E! News. "It's smaller than a size 4. She is tiny! That dress is at least a 2/4. She looks amazing. I just love the way it all came together. Ty [Bey's stylist] knew it was going to fit. "
