Terrell Owens Marries Rachel Snider In Courthouse Ceremony
Former NFL pro Terrell Owens is a married man. After a brief engagement, he and postal worker Rachel Snider have tied the knot.
Owens, 40, wed Snider, 33, at a courthouse in Norwalk, Calif. on Thursday, Jan. 23, in front of one witness, reported Radar Online. During the ceremony, both parties wore blue, and in an effort to avoid any unwanted attention, said their "I dos" as quickly as possible. TMZ claimed they didn't even exchange rings.
On Jan. 10, TMZ reported that Owens obtained a marriage license in Los Angeles which would be good until April 8.
According to prior reports, Owens and Snider had been together since March of 2013 and became engaged in late December of 2013.
One interesting fact about Snider is that her dad is L.A. attorney Mark Geragos. Geragos has represented Chris Brown and Wynona Ryder.
Although this is Owens' first marriage, he already has four children with four different women. Snider has one child of her own.
In July of 2012, it was reported that Owens had fallen behind in his child support payments and also missed a child support hearing. As a result, the former wide receiver was facing jail time but managed to work a deal to do community service instead.
Following his football career, Owens took his turn at reality TV, starring on The T.O. Show which aired for three seasons on VH1 (from July 2009 to Oct. 2011). On the show, Owens' friends and family tried to help him find love but were unsuccessful.
Both Owens and Snider are very active on social media, Twitter specifically, but neither newlywed has tweeted about the marriage as of yet.
