Will 'Bachelor' Juan Pablo Galavis Tie The Knot In A Televised Wedding?
Juan Pablo Galavis is currently starring on ABC's The Bachelor where he hopes to find the love of his life. But if he is successful, will he follow in the footsteps of his predecessor, Sean Lowe, and tie the knot in a televised wedding?
Lowe and his fiancé Catherine Giudici, are set to wed live on ABC on Sunday night and ahead of their big day, Galavis is considering the possibility of his own televised wedding.
"That's something you have to think about," Galavis told E! News on Jan. 23. "Because I like a big wedding, very Latin wedding. I work in the music industry and have a lot of friends so... I don't know."
While Galavis, of course, couldn't confirm whether or not he became engaged during filming on his season, he did say that he was "happy" with the outcome.
Just weeks into his season, Galavis has already caused some controversy. After stating that he didn't think a gay or bisexual Bachelor would be a good idea, many fans were outraged. However, Galavis continues to stay true to himself and move forward, doing his best to navigate through his newfound fame. Luckily, his career has helped prepare him for some of what he's now dealing with.
"I've worked in the industry, the Latin [music] industry so I've been on red carpets walking on the other side, so I know how it goes," he said. "Right now the attention's on me, but I try to live my life as if I was living it before."
As for whether or not he will let his 4-year-old daughter Camila watch the show, Galavis explained that now is not the time.
"When she grows up, I'll say, 'This is what daddy did. Remember when you were in the winter wonderland? That's what Daddy was doing.' But right now she's too young," he said.
