Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Wedding: Stars Visit Versailles Palace, Consider the Location For Their Nuptials
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are currently in Paris where they are scouting locations for their upcoming wedding, and on Sunday night, they visited the Versailles Palace.
"Kim Kardashian and Kanye West made a private visit to the legendary Chateau de Versailles, known as the Palace of Versailles," read a Jan. 20 report on DNA. "The 33-year-old American television personality and her rapper fiancé were reportedly eyeing the Palace, which was built during the 17th century and was home to Marie Antionette, as a possible wedding venue."
According to an E! News source, Kim and Kanye spent an hour visiting the palace on Sunday after being dropped off at the location by their driver. During the visit, Kim wore Nike tennis shoes and black pants. On their way out, Kim and Kanye tried to go unnoticed. Kanye wore his hood, and Kim looked down as they hopped into their awaiting car and immediately drove off.
As they checked out the venue, Kim snapped a photo of the view which she later shared with her followers on social media. "Versailles after dark," Kim wrote on her Instagram page on Jan. 19.
News of Kim and Kanye's dream wedding being set at the Versailles Palace was first reported by Us Weekly in early December. "Kanye has never been married and wants a big [wedding]," a source told the magazine at the time. A second insider added, "They are not working with a budget."
The coupe also reportedly checked out the Trianon Palace Versailles during their stay.
