'Real Housewives' Star Joanna Krupa Plans For Babies, May Freeze Her Eggs
Joanna Krupa and Romain Zago are 100 percent sure they want to start a family, but for Joanna, the timing is a huge concern. The Real Housewives of Miami star isn't convinced that she is ready to become a mother at this point, because of her hectic career, and is now considering freezing her eggs.
"We're talking more and more about it. Honestly, [one second] I want to have a baby and [then] another second I don't feel like I'm ready for it just yet. So what I think I'm gonna do -- unless it happens naturally -- I think I'm gonna freeze my eggs in the next month or two," Krupa revealed to Us Weekly on Jan. 14. "I wish I did that in my twenties but, unfortunately, I didn't. So I think I'm gonna do it just in case because every year I'm like, 'This is the year, this is the year.' But I'm still focused on other things that it's just really hard, and I don't want to take it away from being a mother."
In addition to being a model, Krupa is also starring on The Real Housewives of Miami. That, added to her bi-costal life, doesn't leave much time for being a mother. Still, a 2014 baby isn't completely out of the question.
"Maybe it'll happen this year," she said. "We're talking. We're definitely talking more about having a baby this year than ever in the last seven years we've been together, but if that doesn't happen then definitely I'm gonna freeze my eggs."
In the meantime, Krupa is focused on her career, as is her club-owner husband, and is also in talks for another reality show.
"We both have such busy lives. The Real Housewives of Miami only shows my life in Miami and, to be honest, my life is more L.A.," she revealed. "The only thing that keeps me in Miami is my husband. So my life, my career, my animal rescue and everything is in L.A., so who knows. I think we're like the only couple that's been doing a bi-coastal relationship for seven years, so it definitely wouldn't be a boring thing and we've definitely talked about it."
