Kris Jenner Reportedly Forced Khloe Kardashian To Work Out When She Was Just A Child
Kris Jenner recently experienced some criticism after her daughter claimed in Cosmopolitan UK that she had said she needed a nose job when she was just 9-years-old. Now, weeks later, she is making headlines once again for her odd treatment of Khloe.
In a new interview with In Touch Weekly, Karen Houghton, Kris' sister and Khloe's aunt, claims Kris used to force Khloe to work out, even when she was just a child. "Khloe might have been 4 or 5 years old when Kris would have me take her to classes to get exercise," Karen revealed to the magazine. "I would take her a couple of times a week."
According to the report, Kris' "obsession with looks" is what led her to put so much pressure on Khloe to be fit.
"Your parents are supposed to be there for you," added an insider. "You don't hurt your daughter like that."
Words do hurt at times, and for Khloe, this ongoing focus on her looks has taken a toll.
In 2011, Khloe opened up about her weight struggle on her blog. "I think my weight is my biggest lifetime struggle. It's not the biggest thing in life, but it does get you down sometimes," she admitted. "My weight is always going up and down. I'm always fighting that, I feel like no matter what I do, I never look good enough to everybody else.""That's been a struggle that I think I've gotten a hold of, not caring what other people think. But as much as I say that, other people's words eventually come and do hit you hard."
As for her mother's nose job recommendation, Khloe told Cosmo, "She didn't mean harm, but when I was around nine I overheard my mom telling her friend I needed a nose job. I was shocked; I hadn't even thought about it."
