Are Amanda Bynes' New Friends Putting Her Sobriety At Risk?

Amanda Bynes has been out of treatment for over a month now and while she has been spending the majority of her days with her parents, shopping and going for walks, as well as preparing for college, she's also managed to take some time out for some new friends. Unfortunately, they may not be the best influence on her.

"Amanda was told to stop talking to everyone from before she went into rehab," a source revealed to Radar Online. "She totally listened and she isn't talking to any of her old friends, any of the people that were around doing drugs or drinking or being a bad influence."

However, she has added some new friends into the mix and while they aren't hardcore drug users, they do like to party and for Amanda, who is fresh out of rehab and extremely vulnerable, that may not be the best thing.

"Amanda's new friends are really nice and none of them do drugs, but they do go out to bars and clubs and have drinks," the source explained. "They are all really supportive of Amanda and want her to stay healthy so they aren't going to do anything to try and influence her to use anything, but they aren't totally sober themselves."

Even if these new people in Amanda's life have good intentions, seeing them having fun and partying may be an added temptation in Amanda's life, and that could lead her down the wrong path.

As for starting college, Amanda reportedly entered FIDM on Monday, despite being told by psychiatrists that it was too soon after her treatment.
