'Teen Mom 2' Star Jenelle Evans' Husband Courtland Rogers Is Heading Home From Prison
Jenelle Evans may be currently pregnant with the child of her boyfriend of seven months, Nathan Griffith, but the Teen Mom 2 star is actually married to another man -- and he's about to be released from prison.
According to a Jan. 2 Sulia post by Jenelle, Courtland, who along with his wife was arrested last spring and charged with heroin possession and assault, will be getting out of the slammer at the end of this week.
"My soon-to-be ex husband, Courtland Rogers gets released from jail next week," Jenelle wrote on the social network. "Everyone is well aware of why he is in jail, and now he's about to be released. Hopefully he can stay sober, and get his life on track, and find happiness. "
Because Courtland was originally set for a July release, Wetpaint suspects that the regular lawbreaker either racked up some good time or finally posted his $2,000 bond.
Either way, his girlfriend, Samantha Ferrell, is thrilled to finally be getting Courtland back and last week, she posted a photo of him on her Twitter page along with the caption, "11 days and your mine, all mine!"
Prior to turning himself in, Courtland had struggled with drugs and at one point was even the target of a leaked online video which featured him reportedly doing heroin. He's also had tons of run-ins with police.
"Courtland has spent the better part of 2013 in and out of the slammer, starting with that fateful day in April when he and Jenelle were both arrested for heroin possession and domestic assault," Wetpaint reported over the weekend. "[Courtland] faced charges of assault on a female, heroin possession (with intent to sell), and possession of drug paraphernalia - but that's not all. [He] was arrested again (while in prison) for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge, was arrested for a third time this past September for harassing Jenelle's sister, and was once again arrested in October for a probation violation (he turned himself in after relapsing)."
