Jenna Dewan-Tatum Reveals Weight Loss Secrets
Jenna Dewan-Tatum gave birth to her daughter Everly on May 31, 2013, and already, she's looking fit and fabulous. So, how did she do it? In the new issue of Ocean Magazine, the Witches Of East End star is revealing just that.
"I danced for 22 years of my life, hardcore, every day, seven hours a day," Jenna told the magazine, on which she is featured going braless with a pink pantsuit, of her ongoing fitness plan. "I'm lucky that [my body] likes to snap back to that shape as long as I put a little effort into it, but I'm really active. I work with a trainer named Jennifer Johnson in LA. She's a dancer as well, and she does this amazing workout that's part cardio, part strength training, part Pilates-based."
Jenna is also getting some assistance from her daughter when it comes to exercising regularly.
"When Everly was born, I was literally rocking her probably 10 times a day for 45 minutes, and I turned it into a workout, doing squats and lunges around the house," she said.
Although Jenna, like most moms, was a bit anxious to get back to her pre-baby size after giving birth, she didn't put too much pressure on herself to lose the weight. Instead, she let things happen naturally, which was no problem for husband Channing Tatum, whom she claims loves her curves.
"In the past, if my jeans weren't fitting right, I'd work out," she added. "Now, if they're not fitting right, I'm like 'Oh, well! I'll get to the gym soon.'"
