Roger Federer, Wife Mirka Expecting Their Third Child
Roger Federer and his wife, Mirka, are expecting their third child together. The couple are already parents to twin daughters who were born in 2009.
The tennis player shared the happy news on Twitter this Christmas
"Mirka and I are very happy to share the news that Myla & Charlene will be big sisters in 2014! Happy holidays," the father-to-be for the third time tweeted.
Tony Godsick, Federer's agent, has also confirmed the news of the new addition to the Federer household.
The 32-year-old tennis legend has won a record of 17 Grand Slam singles titles. He has also spent more weeks at #1 position more than anyone else in the history of ATP rankings. Though it looks like the proudest title he could ever receive is being a "father."
"It's an amazing feeling to be called a dad," Roger told People magazine at the time when her daughters were born. "I take a lot of pride in that title. I'm hands on as much as I can because every day is something new and something different. I don't want to miss anything."
