Sam Lutfi Posts Alleged Old Texts From Britney Spears
The legal team of Britney Spears is disputing texts that showed the Toxic singer in a state of distress, Radar Online reported Thursday.
Sam Lutfi, who used to describe himself as Britney's manager in 2007 when she was having a very public breakdown, revealed purported messages from the singer. In the missives, Britney claimed that her parents, Jamie and Lynn, were keeping her as a prisoner of sorts. The texts were reportedly from that time period in Britney's life. During this period, Jamie obtained a conservatorship over his daughter where he was granted control of Britney's personal and financial affairs. A restraining order was filed against Lutfi amid allegations that he drugged and exploited Britney. Nonetheless, Lufti insinuated that Britney was miserable then and still is.

However, a source connected to Britney pushed back against the claims. “Brit’s lawyers seriously doubt the validity and the authenticity of the text messages. Even if Britney did send the texts, they were likely taken out of context,” the source said. Furthermore, fans pointed out that the messages Lutfi posted were suspicious because of the color scheme. The incoming texts were green which would mean they would be outgoing messages on an iPhone. Lutfi also hinted that he just may reveal more in the future about the time he spent with Britney. He has long claimed that the Spears’ camp cut him out of Britney’s life against her wishes. He retweeted a fan who surmised his feelings.
I mean Brit did fire everyone and removed everyone out of her life before she met @SamLutfi ... Who knows, we will never know the true story — Michelle (@MichelleeNicole) December 4, 2013
