Teenager Went Partying In London, Woke Up In Paris
A teenager got so drunk that he went partying in London but woke up in Paris, The Daily Mail reported Tuesday.
Luke Harding, 19, was out partying in London at Tokyo Project nightclub, nicknamed Tokes. At the end of the raucous evening, he decided to take a cab to the airport at the spur of the moment. He booked a last minute flight to Paris using his iPhone. He had been carrying around his passport as a form of I.D. and decided on the sudden trip. He woke up the next morning near in a toilet cubicle at Charles De Gaulle Airport.
Harding said the last thing he remembered was being in England. Nonetheless, he took to Twitter to share of his exploits.
"I got in a taxi to Manchester airport and booked a flight on my phone! Don't remember the flight. It's f***ing expensive here though. Mum thinks I'm a pillock. Walked past the Eiffel Tower 3 times! Not a clue where I am!'" he wrote.
His friends gathered money for him to purchase a flight back home. However, he had to spend the next few hours in Paris until it was time for him to leave.
"I had eight hours to kill so I booked a bus into Paris and had a wander around. I did get to see the Eiffel Tower but there was a massive queue so I didn't get to go up it but at least I had my picture taken outside the Arc de Triomphe and I went to a cafe for coffee and a croissant and sat outside," he tweeted.
His mother picked him up at the airport in England but she wasn't thrilled when she told him what happened.
"I rang my mum and said "don't panic mum but can you pick me up at Manchester Airport at 8pm?" Then I told her what I had done and she went mental at me," he tweeted.
