George Zimmerman 911 Call: Girlfriend Samantha Scheibe Details Alleged Shotgun Incident (AUDIO)
George Zimmerman and his girlfriend gave two different accounts of an alleged domestic dispute that led to his arrest, The Sanford Herald reported Monday.
Zimmerman was arrested by Seminole County Sheriff officials on Monday following an argument which allegedly turned violent between him and his girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, 27. At one point, Zimmerman is believed to have pointed a shotgun in her face as he physically forced her out of the house they were sharing in Flroida. The 30-year-old will be charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (domestic violence), battery (domestic violence) and criminal mischief.
The police warrant stated that Scheibe threatened to call police after Zimmerman began to threaten her. Afterwards, Zimmerman then pointed the shotgun at Scheibe for a minute, and asked her if she really wanted to do that."
Zimmerman then smashed a glass table, according to the police report. He also pushed her out the front door and called the police to give his version of events.
"My live-in girlfriend has, for lack of a better word, gone crazy on me," Zimmerman said.
Zimmerman also denied that he held a gun on his girlfriend.
"I never pulled a firearm, I never displayed it. When I was packing it I'm sure she saw it, I mean we keep it next to the bed," Zimmerman said in the 911 call.
Scheibe's call to the police was also released. She was not sure what Zimmerman would do.
"I don't think he'll do anything, but, I don't think he's got nothing to lose at this point," Scheibe said the 911 operator.
Zimmerman is currently being held in the custody of Seminole County jail. In July, he was acquitted in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
