Ireland Baldwin Defends Alec Baldwin, Says Father Is Not 'Homophobic or Racist'
Ireland Baldwin went on a Twitter rant to defend her controversial father, Alec Baldwin, Us weekly reported Nov. 17.
The 18-year-old model used social media to defend Alec against his numerous critics. She insisted he was not homophobic or racist. However, she did allow that he has anger problems.
Sometimes we let our tempers get the best of us. Tempers are like wildfires. Something or someone can easily fuel the fire.

For someone who has battled with anger management issues, my dad has grown tremendously. — ireland (@IrelandBBaldwin) November 17, 2013
My dad is far from a homophobe or a racist.

Ireland’s defense of her father came just as he has found himself embroiled in controversy for his use of gay slurs. Last week, Alec verbally assaulted a photogragher who was taking pictures of his family. According to a video posted by TMZ, the Emmy winner hurled homophobic slurs.
"Get away from my kid with the camera! You know what's going to happen to you, don't you? Come on!" Baldwin is heard saying at one point. He then shouted, ""c--ksucking f-g".
On Nov. 15, Alec offered an apology and his MSNBC show was removed from the airwaves.
