Kourtney Kardashian Paternity Scandal: Male Model Claiming to Be Mason's Father Guilty of Extortion?
Kourtney Kardashian has accused the man who is claiming to be the father of her child Mason of extortion, TMZ reported Monday.
Shawn Holley, representing Kardashian, recently fired a cease and desist to Michael Girgenti. The powerhouse attorney claimed that a DNA proved that Scott Disick is the father of 3-year-old Mason. Furthermore, Girgenti failed a polygragh test and allegedly told Kardashian that he would go away if she paid him. In retaliation, Holley threatened to go before a judge with Girgenti's behavior and have him pay for the alleged extortion.
Girgenti claimed that he is the biological father of Mason and filed a lawsuit in August to assert his parental rights. "After the news broke last August that she was pregnant and I did the math, I started to think, 'That kid could very well be mine.' I've sent Kourtney emails over the winter, saying we need to talk about it - but she hasn't replied. Now it's to the point where I flat out just need to know if that's my son," he told Star Magazine in March.
Kardashian countered with a DNA test that proved boyfriend Disick is the father of her young child.
"After three-and-a-half years of rumors and lies being spread by an individual I met briefly at a photo shoot, I am setting the record straight that Scott is Mason's father," Kardashian said.
