Mariah Carey Says Pain from Dislocated Shoulder Is Similar to Birthing Twins [VIDEO]
Mariah Carey has compared dislocating her shoulder to giving birth, E! News reported Wednesday.
Carey has been promoting her upcoming single, The Art of Letting Go, which is scheduled for released Nov. 11. The song will be in support of her upcoming studio album which was delayed from a summer rollout after she suffered an injury that left her with nerve damage. The #beautiful singer told the site that suffering the fall and recovering have been traumatic on her body. She likened it to giving birth to her twins, Morocco and Monroe in 2011.
"I feel like I have suffered the toughest experience of my life about several things," she said. "One was having twins and anybody who's ever had multiples will know it is one of the most difficult experiences ever but the reward is just beyond-I can't even explain how rewarding having these babies is for me. But yeah, breaking my rib was not festive. Dislocating my shoulder was not a good thing, either."
Carey was quick to add that she was close to being on the mend. She was almost in complete recovery.
"I'm like 95 percent healed, but we're good. We're getting there," she added.
