Miley Cyrus Thanked Ex-Fiance Liam Hemsworth in 'Bangerz' Liner Notes
In the liner notes of Miley Cyrus' new album, Bangerz, she wrote a special thank-you to her ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth, Us Weekly reported.
"I couldn't have made this album without one person . . . FE, thank you for inspiring me. (PS I love you)," the shout-out said according to Just Jared. "FeFe" is a reported pet name of the "Wrecking Ball" singer for the Hunger Games actor.
What's unclear is whether the note was written before or after they have announced their breakup on Sept. 16. The two met on the set of 2010's The Last Song. However, their relationship didn't end well. "Liam and Miley are completely done and broken up," a source told Us Weekly. Another source added, "She wants nothing to do with him, and vice versa. It's bad."
Bangerz is Cyrus' fourth studio album that will hit stores on Oct. 4.
In May, Cyrus said that her album was the reason why her relationship with Hemsworth was crumbling.
"I'm not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work," she told V magazine. "I don't have time go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don't. I'd rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him. And then I'm at the studio all day. He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio. I put this record before everything, and I've never done that with anything. I've put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it."
