Kanye West and Kim Kardashian: 'Yeezus' Rapper Gushes About 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' Star
Kanye West has opened up about his life with Kim Kardashian and declared that she gave him everything, PEOPLE reported Tuesday.
West granted an interview to the BBC on Monday. During the hour long conversation, he spoke fondly about the mother of his child.
"Family time - it's what Kim gave me," the hip-hop star said. "She gave me everything. She gave me a family. She gave me a support system."
The 36-year-old was also happy because he knew that Kardashian was with him because she wanted to be with him. He did not feel she had any ulterior motives.
"She was in a powerful enough situation where she could love me without asking me for money, which is really hard for me to find," West said.
West also addressed the ever present paparazzi that follow him around. He is currently being sued by one and has criminal charges pending against him after a July altercation with a photographer. He made a vow to have the laws changed so that they could one day protect his daughter, North.
"I'm going to tell my daughter, by the time she understands what it was, 'Man, me and your mother were in a completely different situation than you're in,' " he said. "People could take pictures, people could climb over your fence, and you wouldn't even get paid for it. You see all these checks that you getting at age 6 because people are taking your picture? ... I made that happen, Nori. That's what I'm going to tell her."
