Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Split: 'Wrecking Ball' Singer Shocked He's Moved On, Source Says
Miley Cyrus is shocked that ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth has publicly moved on, PEOPLE reported Friday.
Hemsworth was pictured kissing Mexican singer-actress Eiza Gonzalez. The kiss was captured on Tuesday, the day after representatives for Cyrus and Hemsworth confirmed that the couple had engaged their engagement. Sources close to the Wrecking Ball singer said that she was upset by the PDA involving her ex and Gonzalez.
"She knows Liam has been seeing Eiza and it's been hard for her," a source said. "She can't believe he moved on so fast and so publicly."
Hemsworth and Gonzalez, both 23, had been spotted together in Las Vegas. Gonzales was in Mexico for a promotional appearance on Thursday. She declined to answer questions about her relationship with Hemsworth.
"Los Angeles is a city that energizes me. The city is constantly growing and has a great movie culture. Right now, my job is my happiness and I am very happy," she said.
Gonzalez also did not take the bait when further questioned. She stated she did not feel attacked by the papparrazi because of her association with the Hunger Games star.
"Today I am here on this job and I am happy," she continued. "I have nothing to say about that matter," she said.
