Cher is the latest star to blast Miley Cyrus for her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.

Many have taken exception to Cyrus twerking against Robin Thicke and placing her behind in his crotch. The Believe singer faulted the 20-year-old for not actually performing. Cher took the twerking queen to task for not keeping the audience properly entertained.

"She could have come out naked, and if she'd just rocked the house, I would have said, 'You go, girl,'" she said. "It just wasn't done well. She can't dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn't great, one cheek was hanging out."

Cher also wasn't fond of Cyrus sticking out her tongue at every opportunity.

"And, chick, don't stick out your tongue if it's coated. If you're going to go that far, then think about it before you do it," she said.

Cyrus does have some defenders, including Britney Spears. The Work Bitch singer appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday. She offered her support to the fellow Disney alum.

"I think any time you do a performance that is memorable, you're going to have criticism. I think she's doing her thing, being herself," Spears said.
