Robin Thicke Discusses Being 'Happily Married' To Paula Patton
Robin Thicke has spoken out about the state of his marriage in a new interview with Star, Radar Online reported Wednesday.
Thicke and Patton have known each other since they were teenagers. He knew that she was the one for him from the very start.
"I knew she was special the night I met her," the R&B singer said. "I was only 14, but she was already the most special girl."
Thicke and Patton married in 2005 and have a three year old son, Julian. He shared that Patton, who has become an A-list actress during their marriage. She has supported him throughout the years as his career blossomed. She even appeared in numerous Thicke video such as Lost Without U and has been his biggest fan as Blurred Lines became the biggest hit of his career.
"As a relationship progresses, you fall in love again in so many deeper ways," Thicke said. "You realize that you need each other and you can't live without each other."
Thicke also spoke out against the controversy that erupted after his VMA performance with Miley Cyrus. Thicke was photograghed in a suggestively with a blonde by the name of Lana Scolaro at a VMA after party. Thicke's hand was placed on her butt.
"My only comment about the so-called scandalous photo would be that my wife and I are perfectly in love and very happily married," he said.
