Neil Patrick Harris Buys $3.6M Harlem Brownstone
Neil Patrick Harris bought a new house. Harris and fiancé, David Burtka, have reportedly purchased a $3.6 million Harlem Brownstone home in New York City, according to Us Weekly.
The 8,000-square-feet has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The most beautiful thing about this house is that it has wooden floors. It also features a living room with a built-in bookshelf. It also includes a spacious white ceramic kitchen, two terraces, chef's kitchen and a backyard.
This new change will mean a cross country move for the coulple and their twins.
"Neil is very happy with their new home," a source said."They know the area well since they've been staying in Harlem for years so it feel less and less like a move. The kids go with them everywhere, so their home is pretty much where every 'the daddies' are."
The 40-year-old actor has been eyeing the area since March. "Looking to buy a brownstone in Harlem. Figure someone on Twitter might wanna sell. Any takers?" he tweeted in Matrch.
The new home is near Marcus Park in Central Harlem. This is perfect for the twins, Harper and Gideon, 2, and their playmates.
"Our plan is to reroute ourselves and have our kids start to go to school here," he said at the HRC Marriage for Equality Celebration at the Calvin Klein boutique in NYC. "We're at that age where we need to figure out where our kids are going to be educated. Then we hope that work finds us."
