Kate Gosselin Sues Ex-Husband Jon For Computer Theft, Phone Hacking
Kate Gosselin has sued ex-husband Jon for hacking and phone theft, PEOPLE reported Monday.
Kate filed the suit in Philadelphia which is in relation to the book Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World. In the legal filing, Kate claimed that the father of her eight children provided material to a third party for the unflattering tome. The person in question was Robert Hoffman, a friend of Jon's. Hoffman has since taken the book off Amazon after Kate made the initial claims that the material was obtained illegally.
Jon has not yet publicly responded to the matter. However, Kate has been more open in the press as of late. She appeared on PEOPLE with her eight children two weeks. She spoke about her life since appearing on Jon & Kate Plus 8 and her own spinoff reality T.V. show. She admitted to many mistakes.
"It feels like a whole other lifetime ago," she said. "And sometimes I don't even remember much of it. Both when the babies were first born and during the divorce, I was on survival mode. I feel like I've lived two lifetimes already. I'm not the same person I was ... I don't even recognize her."
