Gia Allemand Funeral News: What Happened During the Service?

Friends and families of Gia Allemand said their goodbyes to her after more than a week of the Bachelor star's tragic death in New Orleans.

She was remembered by her loved ones at a public funeral held at Trinity Grace Church in NYC Thursday, Aug. 22, according to Us Weekly.

Some of the attendees included her mother Donna Micheletti , her boyfriend, NBA star Ryan Anderson, and many Bachelor alum such as Ames Brown, Rachel Truehart, Jenna Burke, Ashleigh Hunt, Jaclyn Swartz, Jackie Gordon, Tyler Vermette, Gwen Goia, Graham Bunn and Craig Robinson. Several teammates of Anderson also attended the service.

Before the Episcopalian service began, the star's favorite hymn was played which was Amazing Grace. Two close friends of Allemand gave her a eulogy remembering the good times. Anderson and Micheletti comforted each other during the service.

The program of the service read: "The family of Gia Allemand wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to all those, near and far, who have extended words of encouragement and support during this time of incredible loss. Gia was the loving girlfriend "Petri" of Ryan "Snuggy" Anderson, beloved daughter and little princess of Donna Micheletti and stepdaughter of Tony Micheletti, loving sister of Dylan and Erick, most cherished granddaughter of Marie (Nonna) Coltrinari, devoted godchild of Fred and Annemarie Coltrinari, dear cousin of Brian, Ellen, Kevin and Julie, and also survived by her dear dog Bentley."
