Simon Cowell: 'X Factor' Judge Reunites With Lauren Silverman
Simon Cowell reunited with the mother of his child, Lauren Silverman, PEOPLE reported Thursday.
The couple reunited in the South of France according to sources. They are said to be thinking about their future. The duo now have greater options since Silverman's divorce from her husband Andrew was finalized earlier this month. Cowell was described as being happy that the matter was resolved.
"He is very pleased that her divorce is finalized, and he is excited about spending time with Lauren," the source said. "He wants to make sure that she and the baby are doing okay. He is getting more and more excited about the baby."
The source said that the impending birth of his child has changed Cowell. He genuinely does want to have a life with Silverman, but was not quite yet ready to make it legal and binding.
"Simon still has no plans to live with Lauren permanently, or to get married," a source said. "But Simon is a softy at heart, and his feelings could definitely change. No one would have ever thought that he would be this excited about a surprise baby."
In July, the news of Cowell becoming a first time father took many by surprise. Not only was Silverman married, but she was wed to one of Cowell's closest friends.
