Paris Jackson: Teenager Wants to Reach Out To Brother Prince After Suicide Attempt?

By Stephanie Guerilus | Aug 22, 2013 09:58 AM EDT

Paris Jackson wants to reconcile with her brother, Prince Jackson, TMZ reported Thursday.

Sources told the site that the 15-year-old held a grudge against her 16-year-old brother, fracturing the bond they used to have before their father Michael died in 2009. Apparently, Paris was angry that Prince found other interests since that time such as girls, martial arts and girls.

Prince's new interests left Paris isolated and she sought comfort in their biological mother, Debbie Rowe.  Prince allegedly wanted nothing to do with her while Paris felt that Rowe filled a void in her life. Paris' problems persisted and she attempted suicide in June.

Paris has apparently told friends that she would like to be close to her brother once more.  Earlier in the week, Randy Jackson expressed the desire for Paris to return to the Jackson fold.  Randy sent out a series a tweets lamenting that his niece was so far away from the Jackson family. He challenged any assertion that she was mentally imbalanced to the point that this prolonged confinement was necessary. Randy insinuated that Paris would not be able to acknowledge Michael's upcoming birthday since she is supposedly in a psychiatric hospital. A source close to Rowe denied the claims.
