Drew Barrymore Finally Joins Twitter: What’s her First Tweet?
Drew Barrymore finally created a Twitter account and she was greatly concerned that she would be too chatty.
The actress finally joined the micro-blogging website Twitter on Tuesday, August 20.
She hoped that the character limit per tweet would prevent her from babbling on like she can sometimes when talking face to face.
"Late to the party, but happy to be here!" she posted. "140 characters should keep me from rambling...someone told me it doesn't all have to fit in 1 tweet."
Since creating the Twitter account, Barrymore has announced that she will be taking part in a Twitterchat with Instyle magazine. InStyle magazine tweeted: "We're hosting a Twitterchat on 8/22 at 3pm EST with @DrewBarrymore! Submit your questions early using #AskDrewInStyle https://ow.ly/o6xg6 "
The new mom and her husband Will Kopelman welcomed their daughter, Olive, into the world last September. She shared some of her thoughts about motherhood with InStyle magazine.
"Some people love it and thrive on the independence, but I want my kids to have other kids around. Maybe two kids so they can run around life together, roll their eyes at their parents together like Rusty and Audrey Griswold from [National Lampoon's] Vacation. So however that's going to come about, it's gonna happen!" she shared.
