'NSYNC Reuniting at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards?
N' Sync may reunite at the MTV Music Awards this Sunday at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, The New York Post reported Tuesday.
Sources told the publication that former bandmates J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick were scheduled to join Timberlake onstage for a reunion performance. The rumor may have credence given that the men were all spotted together backstage at VIP section at his concert with Jay Z at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami recently. They were said to be joined by Timberlake's wife, Jessica Biel, and his mother, Lynn Harless.
N'Sync last performed together as a group in 2003 and then officially disbanded to pursue solo opportunities. Timberlake proved to be the breakout star of the group, amassing hits and acclaim on his own. His album, the 20/20 Experience was released in March and sold over 900,000 in its first week. It has remained the best selling album of the year thus far.
Timberlake is also one of the most nominated artists at the VMA's with six and he is also set to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Timberlake has not publicly commented on the speculated reunion. Instead, he has been touting his upcoming release, The 2020 Experience #2of2 on Twitter.
