Angus T. Jones: 'Two and a Half Men' Star Suffering Nervous Breakdown?
Angus T. Jones is on the verge of a breakdown is rumored to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown, The New York Daily News reported Monday.
Friends and family of the former Two and Half Men star are worried that he is not acting like himself according to sources. On Monday, the 19-year old was pictured appearing in a downcast manner and with a thick beard. He appeared clean shaven on the CBS sitcom before the decision was made for him to exit this past spring. There has also been a noticeable weight loss.
"[He] "seems to be suffering some kind of breakdown. He appears in denial about the whole saga. And he just doesn't want to look like Jake anymore," a friend said anonymously.
Other sources claimed that Jones was reconsidering his involvement with Seventh-day Adventist Church after concern from his parents and loved ones. He caused headlines in November 2012 by appearing in a video on YouTube which blasted the CBS sitcom which gave him fame and riches. He begged viewers to stop watching the show which he called "filth". Jones apologized for his comments, but the comments may have led to his departure from the show.
Sources said that his parents have urged him to pull back from those who have been spitually advising him.
"He seems to be a shadow of himself and desperate to get away from the looks that made him a a global star and very wealthy," the friend said.
