Beyoncé Stylist Suprised by Pixie Cut, Denies 'Halo' Singer Removed Extensions [PHOTOS]
Beyoncé's stylist was the person most surprised by the superstar's decision to cut her hair into a pixie, People reported Thursday.
Kim Kimble has been Beyoncé's for many years. However, she was as in the dark as everyone else when the Halo singer decided to debut a new look. Kimble was thinking of a hairstyle for an upcoming Beyoncé video shoot. Those plans have to be altered now.
"I had a whole plan laid out ... I wanted to do a retro '50s type of hair. I feel like there's going to be a meeting soon!" she said. "It won't be the long, wavy, typical hair, but I'm really excited to do something different. No matter what, she knows I'll give her what she wants!"
Beyoncé shocked the world on Wednesday evening when she debuted her cropped 'do on Instragram. The 31-year-old has been known for her signature long, blonde hair. Kimble said that she got emotional and teary eyed since she has been working with Queen B for so long. Kimble said she could even be inspired to make a similar chop but denied that Beyoncé merely took out extensions.
"She had great, thick long hair, which she cut off because she's ready to make a statement. It's a great [one] to make: I'm beautiful, sexy, bold and I can do it all. She's the perfect model for that: A working woman, mom, superstar, businesswoman. She's powerful in herself," Kimble said.
