Chris Brown Quitting Music After 'X' release, Tired Of Being Famous For 'Mistake'
Chris Brown pledged to quit the music industry during a rant on Twitter Tuesday.
The 24- year- old star lashed out at his critics through a series of tweets. He said that he would no longer make music after the release of his latest album, X which is scheduled for an August 20 release. Brown declared that he was tired of being famous for a mistake that he made at “18”.

In 2009, Brown assaulted ex-girlfriend Rihanna the night before the Grammy’s. He pled guilty and received community service and four years of probation. The two shocked the world by publicly reuniting earlier this year.The couple broke up in May after Brown claimed that Rihanna was not mature enough to be a partner to him.
Despite expressing remourse for his violent actions, Brown has not remained out of trouble with the law. On Monday, Brown turned himself in for a hit and run that he has been charged with in Los Angeles.
