Cory Monteith Death: Mother Ann McGregor Breaks Silence via Twitter
Cory Monteith's mom, Ann McGregor, has finally broke her silence after her tragic ordeal. She has offered her apprectiation for the well wishes of her son after his death.
"I would like to thank all of Cory's supporters at this extremely emotional time," sheTweeted on Aug. 2. "Your support has been overwhelming ... thank you!"
The British Columbia Coroners Service said that Monteith died from "mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol" on July 13. Monteith had just left rehab in April after voluntarily checking in for a month.
Police authorities said that there was evidence in the room that was consistent of a drug overdose.
Since then number of people have come forward to offer their condolences. There were also a few that claims to be a family insider.
McGregor addressed that issue on Twitter as well, saying, "The person releasing articles relating to my feelings and thoughts on how to take care of Cory's ashes has never been in contact with me." She followed it up with, "I have never met or spoken to this person. He does not represent me or my wishes."
The death of Montieth has already been subject to rumor and speculation but Monteith's devastated cousin has called to ignore the conditions in which Montieth had died. He said it was best to remember the man that Monteith was.
